Several Leitz co-ordinate measuring machines, measuring ranges up to 1500 × 900 × 700 mm, measuring accuracies up to E = 0.7 + L/400 µm
Shape, contour and roughness measurement
Specialised devices such as the Mahr MMQ 400 and MahrSurf DU 130 with accuracies of ≤ 0.1 µm

Why are air-conditioned measuring rooms necessary?
Climate-controlled measuring rooms minimise temperature influences and ensure reproducible, standard-compliant measurement results in the µm range.
What component sizes can be measured?
Polymeca measures small precision parts up to components with dimensions of approximately 1500 × 900 × 700 mm.
What is a co-ordinate measuring machine (CMM)?
A co-ordinate measuring machine is a measuring system for highly accurate testing of geometry, form and position tolerances in 3D. At Polymeca, only Leitz CMMs from Hexagon are used for high-precision measurements.
What are form measurements?
Form measurements check characteristics such as roundness, flatness, cylindricity, straightness or perpendicularity. At Polymeca, these measurements are taken using highly accurate form, contour and roughness measuring devices.
How do you ensure quality in the series?
We ensure series quality through in-process tests, documented measurement results and continuous monitoring of all manufacturing processes with highly accurate measuring and testing equipment.
